The whole pipeline on your machine

Pick your platform.

The desktop app is free and open source. It records, transcribes, labels speakers, and summarises entirely on-device. Attach documents and images to feed the summary, name a speaker once to recognise them later, translate a transcript, and re-run processing on a recording. No account, no telemetry. The only network call it makes is the model download you start yourself.

Desktop, free build

Release binaries are published on the project's GitHub releases page, each with a SHA-256 checksum. They are not yet code-signed, so Windows and macOS warn on first run — the install guide for your platform covers the checksum and the first-launch step. You can also build from source.

The free build is fully local. The only network call it makes is the model download you start yourself. No account. No telemetry. No server.

Phone companion.

The Android app is a capture-and-view client (iOS coming soon). It records audio (including long background recordings) and takes manual notes. It runs no on-device ML. A signed-in desktop receives the audio, runs the full pipeline, and syncs the transcript and summary back over an end-to-end-encrypted channel.

  • Background audio capture: screen off, mic on (works today)
  • Manual notes during the meeting (works today)
  • Transcript and summary from your desktop, synced back end-to-end encrypted
  • Audio leaves your devices only as ciphertext; our server can store-and-forward it but never read it

Capture and local notes work on the phone alone. By design there is no live transcript during capture; the desktop runs the pipeline after the phone hands off the audio. Sync is end-to-end encrypted, with the relay server store-and-forwarding ciphertext and never holding plaintext.

The free build is AGPL-3.0. The full source is on GitHub. If you prefer to build yourself, or you are packaging for a distribution, the install guides walk through the toolchain requirements.
